Global DFC is the premier, interdisciplinary diabetic foot course in GCC. In its 5th year, the course is designed for the wide spectrum of generalists and specialists who diagnose and manage the diabetic foot.
Didactic talks, Video Presentation, Clinical case discussion, and Hands-on workshops will delve into diagnostic and interventional strategies for diabetic foot ulcers and amputation prevention and Management. The current Gulf Diabetic Foot Working Group in collaboration with Wound International launch Diabetic Foot journal Middle East. The first free and bespoke online journal for this region. It is a platform for clinicians to share best practice and experiences, providing up-to-date practice-based articles and a forum for discussion and tools for education to help healthcare professionals

✔️ Increase the knowledge and operative skills in the management of the diabetic foot.

✔️ The Clinical Practice Guidelines(CPGs) for the Prevention and Management of Diabetes Foot Complications.
✔️ Demonstrate standard management techniques such as application of lower leg compression dressings, total contact casting, and use of moisture retentive dressings.
✔️ Recognize key assessment features for lower leg ulcers and diabetic foot ulcers.
